About Us

Maxie 39 is a spacious double-story villa located in the Port Owen Marina, a scenic 90-minute drive from Cape Town - the perfect getaway for families, friends, or small corporate retreats.

When you enter the villa, the casual luxury and tasteful decoration will immediately make you feel at home. The four spacious suites include a king-size bed, lounge, a large open bathroom with a free-standing bath and a shower.

The spacious facilities include a lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, a patio overlooking the marina, and a signature boat-bar - the 'Zoe'.

Rather not spend your holiday cleaning?

Cleaning is included every three days, with fresh linen and towels. Daily cleaning can be arranged on request.

Good to Know Before You Book

What does a stay cost?: Rates depend on your dates and the size of your group. Send us your dates and we’ll come back to you with a quote.
When can we arrive?: Check-in is between 14:00 and 18:00, and check-out is at 10:00.
Can we bring our dog?: Sorry – pets aren’t allowed at Maxie 39.
Can we smoke?: Outdoors only, please. Ashtrays are provided.
Can we bring a boat?: Boats can be washed in front of the garages. The marina jetties are private, so mooring needs to be arranged with us in advance.
Is it safe?: Port Owen is a safe area and parking is provided at the villa. As anywhere, we recommend taking valuables out of your car.
